Absolutely delighted with my new heating system which I rate more highly than the ones fitted at my workplace which I know cost a lot more. I dealt with the same supplier to begin with and laughed the price.

 

Can't rate this company and their people highly enough. They have helped me to choose the right radiators and did not try to convince me either way or sell me anything unnecessary. They just gave good service and sound advice. They also sent an excellent electrician who did a great job on the installation and some other bits. Quick, friendly and tidy.

Thank you for your call that I missed. I am really pleased with my mobile radiator. Very well made. Easy to move and very stable. Took me some time to understand how to program it as the instructions are lengthy but I achieved my aim. First class delivery especially as the man had to walk quarter of a mile as he was unable to get his truck over our cattle grid.

I came to this company on the recommendation of a neighbour and can also recommend them highly.  The customer service has been about the best that I have had from anywhere and the Economiser radiators have worked miracles. I have reduced my KWH rate down by 5 pence and overall usage of of power on the heating by half. The heating is now on only when I need it and the house is far more comfortable. As I was told initially: It is just the same heat sensation produced as a boiler-fired central heating system but without the hassle and light years away from night storage heaters. The app control is simple and allows me to use my phone to control every room separately from inside the house or from work or the bus!

Purchased 3 of the economiser heaters about a month ago. The heaters work really well the rooms they are being used in our cosy and warm. We have decided to leave our heaters on constant but set at 14 degrees to just keep the rooms ticking over which is ideal for our needs. Hoping they will be economic but it is early days at the moment.
The heaters look smart and elegant.

Purchased 8 Economiser units to swap out 5 x 30 year old storage heaters! These units instantly modernise a room and look great - a massive reduction in the size of units, old bulk to new slim line. Despite approximately a 50% reduction in kWh across the house, costs to run are only marginally cheaper (combination of higher standard rate charges and units in rooms that had no heating before!), however we have heat when we want it and need it through the whole house and can crank them up or wind them back on demand.

Long gone are the raging hot E7 early hours and then cooling ineffective units in the evenings, when you really want the heat!

I'd recommend EHE and certainly use them again if the need arises.

Thanks for your review. We really appreciate your feedback. Your running costs should reduce pretty noticeably and your overall rate should be less. Obviously running costs depend on your level of insulation in the property, but there are other things to check into. You may find that you're still paying for usage previous to your change of heating. Submitting a meter reading to your supplier is a good idea. We take it you're now on a more cost-effective tariff than E7? If you haven't switched yet, then you'll be paying over the odds. The other thing to consider is that you're now warm in the evenings, when previously the E7 storage heaters were cold. Lastly, on a decent single-rate tariff, you should see a reduction in the rate that you pay for all of your other appliances - so lighting, TV, kitchen appliances, washer, dryer - anything that's not your heating, will cost you less to use all year-round too.

My experience has been very good. The radiators offer a good degree of control and comfort. Heating bills have decreased by about a third. Helpful advice was given regarding the tariff and setting of the heating schedules. A professional and customer focused company.

We wanted to replace our storage heaters with a more efficient and flexible heating system and found that Electric Heating Expert had exactly what we needed and at great price (we were quoted a lot more by another company for exactly the same product). They responded to queries extremely quickly with useful advice. Delivery was on time and the radiators were packaged well. The radiators are exactly what we need - as close to central heating as we can get in a place with no gas and no space for oil! It’s a world away from our old storage heaters.

First of all the costumer service is outstanding. Now the radiators: it is like having central heating. They are simple tu set. They're invisible and yet so efficient. Much better than a log fire which is what I was used to. The packaging and delivery are meticulously prepped. I'm saving to buy a bathroom and upstairs ones. I highly recommend this company.

Purchased a Midi 1950 Economiser German Electric Radiator, fast efficient service from enquiry through to delivery. Arrived on a pallet so no damage. Easy to fix to bedroom wall, super effective heating. We live in North Northumberland and the gable end room of our all-electric cottage has 3 exterior walls, so it gets quite cold in winter. Set the timer for winter months, for an hour morning and evening and it radiated heat effectively, for a good few hours each session, so the room is now really cosy. Only downside is, I’m not tech savvy and found the instructions to be a little complicated, but studied them for a couple of hours and once I mastered it, couldn’t be happier! Purchased Gateway Internet Programming System so we can use the App to adjust/control it remotely, haven’t yet sorted this but will definitely use it soon. Would highly recommend this radiator and Ian at ‘Electric Heating Expert’. Thanks for a great service.
