Peter Rundle Some initial worries about buying heating over the net for DIY installation soon went once we spoke to Tony and Ian. Calculating the size and model of heaters required meant we didn’t need the consultation visit that the competitors push for. Ian was very understanding in answering all our questions, tweaking our order at the last minute and adding important notes to the delivery instructions. There was never any pressure selling unlike with some of the other companies we contacted initially. The five Economiser heaters all arrived on time and in perfect condition. Installation was easy and after some minor electrical work to take us off economy 7 (we previously had night storage heaters), they are all running perfectly and are economical and very good value for money. 25 November 2017 Company Response : Hi Peter, Thanks for your review. As you say, the install is always easy compared with a gas or oil-fired system, so using one of our approved local installers, or doing it yourself, is a good cost-effective alternative. Philip Edwards The initial contact with Ian was most helpful, who calculated what radiators I needed for our large conservatory. The appliances arrived on the day that was promised and within a few hours, I had fixed them to the wall and they were up and running. I am only a DIYer and found them fairly straightforward to fix. It's worth a few minutes to sit down and read through the instructions to work the timer. It's a little complicated but will get used to it I'm sure. The two rads have made a good difference to the conservatory and overall we are very pleased. 6 December 2017
Simon Cawte In my opinion if you are looking for good qaulity, good looking electrical radiators then look no further. I spent a lot of time on the web looking at various suppliers and types of radiator. When it came to electric heating expert, all was staright forward, their website is relatively easy to understand, no confusing jargon. Their prices are very keen. I sent them emails with my requirements and they advised me what I required. I phoned them and paid over the phone and collected the radiators myself from their distribution warehouse. 7 December 2017
Pia Graham I let out a studio flat. Because of its design, the property was never suited for central heating. The wall mounted gas heater in the main room always kept the flat warm, but its maintenance had become problematic and costly over the years in respect of annual gas checks and replacement carbon monoxide detectors – they have a tendency to go missing during changes of tenancy. Having benefitted from use of a ceramic core heater myself some years ago, I checked them out online and found Electric Heating Experts. I received quick responses from both Tony and Ian at the company, and clear ‘no pressure’ advice. The specification docs for their range of heaters and the many very positive reviews about the company itself were also very helpful. I found Tony’s and Ian’s overall service regarding purchase and delivery to be Excellent. My tenant has said he is very happy with the new Economiser heater I installed in the flat just before Christmas. It’s too early to comment about any increase in running costs due to the change over from gas to electric, but having used a similar heater myself I’d put money on it that my tenant won’t see much of a difference. The only difference, a smarter looking, more efficient heater. 28 December 2017
Georgina Tomkins Excellent service provided, the order arrived on time and well packaged. So far very pleased with the radiators we bought. The look smart and heat the rooms really well. Not certain of their efficiency in terms of cost, but if reasonable would certainly buy again 9 January 2018
Chris Turner I have just had a very positive experience buying from Electric Heating Expert. I was looking for a replacement electric radiator and Ian was extremely helpful providing advice and guidance on what would be the best product. Ordering was very easy indeed and the radiator arrived a day early (an added bonus). E Holland I was really impressed with the quality of these radiators as soon as I opened the box but then I specifically sought out a German manufacturer and not cheap Chinese junk. They were a dream to fit and the electrician was so impressed that he is going to get some when he buys his own house.
