The website provides a tool to assess the size of heaters required. Ian Glover on the phone was most helpful and clarified queries quickly. Ordered 2 economiser radiators for a conservatory with insulated solid roof.

Delivery was as agreed and quality and finish of radiators good. Easy to fit by diy.

The radiators appear to work well and keep a very stable temperature.

Cost appears extremely competitive! I had previously received a quote from a well known company that insist on home assessments and demonstrations. EHE were a quarter of the cost for virtually identical products.

I can totally recommend this company when you’re looking for alternative heating. The radiators were delivered on time when it suited me. I have only just started using them and I’ve found the remote system brilliant as I can switch them on when I’m at work so the house is only being heated when it’s needed. The radiators I chose were the economiser and look just like standard gas central heating.

These are well finished, visually pleasing heaters (they get remarked on by visitors, amazingly), and give off a very comfortable and stable heat.

We installed 9 units, ranging from 650kw to 2500kw, to replace a rather smelly and often awkward oil central heating system. This is a clean, versatile setup, allowing us to heat different areas to differing temperatures, or have some switched off where not needed.

We’re familiar with my mother’s Elkatherm ceramic heaters, which are on 24/7, for 6 months of the year. They’re not cheap to run, but there again, not appreciably more expensive than oil (as long as they’re not whacked up full tilt - they don’t need to be, and it’s worth playing around with the settings, to arrive at the sweet spot). The overall convenience is well worth it. And no maintainance and call out costs.

These heaters don’t run hot to the touch, like gas or oil central heating. They give off a steady and comfortable heat throughout the room, and don’t need to run at temperatures that incinerated anything too close.

Our setup will be supplementing a wood burning stove (which does get hot), and so far, in testing is very efficient cost wise, the way we use them……….. I might post an update after winter, to give a realistic indication of what energy they use (3 bed bungalow, with D ratted EPC, by the skin of its teeth).

Regarding Electric Heating Expert, they are very easy to deal with. It’s worth speaking to them first, if you’re not familiar with these heaters. I had a few questions/reservations, which were cleared very quickly by Ian and Tony. They are quite right in stating that there is a lot of ‘bull’ surrounding German ceramic heaters………and lot of uneccessary expense and sales pressure involved if a so called ‘specialist’ company is involved. They are very easy to install, if you have a modicum of skill. And if you don’t, a friend or electrician, will keep costs far lower and you’ll have the same quality system, that could have cost three times the amount.

I had been looking for sometime for electric radiators for my mums house on a shelter housing complex (no gas) eventually came across Electric Heating Expert and having so many positive reviews decided to give Ian a ring, he was so knowledgeable and helpful from the outset and also very patient After some phone calls back and forward I asked for him to quote for three Vantage radiators for lounge, bedroom and hall Delivery was very quick and I have had them installed we are all delighted with our purchase and we have the comfort of knowing any problems Ian is only a call away Thank you Electric Heating Expert.

I'd just finished programming the system to get it onto the internet (quite straight forward ) and was happy with the app having registered success , driven back from the property , put the kettle on, when synchronistically the email asking for my satisfaction rating on the new radiators came through…….
I feel fortunate and grateful to have been served by a team of proffesional offers a quality product at a realistic price. A fitter had been recommended who expertly sorted the system and got it up and running according to schedule.

Excellent proffesional and friendly service from Ian and his colleagues.
Electric heaters offer excellent value for money - they are easy to program with a very wide range of temperature/ time settings to cover every eventuality.
Appearance - ultra modern and would not look out of place in any home.
I cannot recommend this product highly enough.

Searched the web for electric radiators and found Electric Heating Expert gave the information I needed in a clear and simple format. I ordered a 600 watt Vantage for my bathroom and received order acknowledgement and delivery info from Ian. The unit arrived within 3 days securely packaged and strapped to a pallet. I found the wall mounting template excellent for attaching the support brackets to a tiled wall, and although the unit came equipped with a 13 amp fused plug on the power lead, I cut this off and fed the cable through the wall to a RCD fused spur connector remote from the bathroom. I was slightly confused with the programming instructions in the manual, and so called Ian for some clarification. He understood exactly what I needed and pointed me via a web link to an excellent series of videos that show step by step how to set the programmes for each of the many options for automatic control. The unit has been up and running now for a week and I am 100% satisfied with both its' efficiency and cost. Because it is in a bathroom I fashioned a small plastic cover with a flip up lid mounted over the control panel on the end of the unit as a precaution against any potential water splashes. All in all an excellent product supplied by a first class company.

Having bought 3 electric radiators from them 2 years ago, and delighted with the cost, and the speed of delivery, inevitably something goes wrong. This for me was one of the clips holding the radiator to the wall breaking. This was not a product fault, but human interaction. On phoning for a spare part, not only was this no big issue, but the part arrived the following day, at no cost. It's a shame, that other companies can't have this customer support. I bought the 600 watt wall mounted Economiser Electric Radiator with Integral Programmer - Electrical Heating Expert were really helpful in guiding me to the right product (I didn't want one that was too large). I am delighted with the radiator - it is easy to use and heats my cabin office up perfectly. I had wondered if it would be able to cope, what with 4 outside walls, but does the job perfectly, and as it's programmable I will now be able to stop the space becoming damp over the winter when I'm not working there.
Highly recommend the product and Electric Heating Expert - very knowledgable and great service - couldn't be happier!
