We installed a Vantage 1800W radiator to replace a wall mounted flueless gas fire which basically required a vent/hole in the wall making the room exceptionally cold when the fire wasn't on. We control our central heating via thermostat and individual radiator valves and simply wanted a back up source of heat in the living room. The Vantage was professionally delivered on a wooden pallet, was simple to install and heats the living room easily. The booklet detailing numerous controls looks a little complex but we just use the on/off comfort setting which controls the room temperature to your preference and avoids the dry type heat sometimes associated with other forms of electric heat. We are very pleased with the heater which looks very modern and will be looking at purchasing a similar one for our conservatory this year which currently has an old Dimplex heater currently.
