Back to topThroughout the year, your radiators are on show, so looks are important.
The Vantage is built in Italy. The styling particularly appeals to UK consumers, who prefer classic lines, unobtrusive looks, and a pure-white finish, with no obvious front-facing buttons and displays.
With more appealing looks, and a superior build-quality to any of the Spanish-built alternatives, the Vantage Radiator is a great choice for those who need a high-quality aluminium radiator with integrated controls.
The intuitive digital programmer enables you to set your on/off times, and temperature preferences across 7-days.
Click here to learn about the programming functions.
The proportional thermostat (Featuring Fondital™Digital Optimiser) and temperature sensor is located in the vented aluminium end-panel.
Control is easily accessible on the top of the Vantage radiator, so there's no need to bend down to make adjustments. The controls are not located on the face of the radiator. In the UK, sleek, uncluttered looks are preferred.
There's a frost-setting, to protect your property while you're away, and there's also a locking function, to prevent tampering.
We offer a pallet delivery service at cost-price, to ensure that your radiators reach you on time, and in perfect condition.
Radiators delivered by standard courier services often arrive damaged. By delivering your radiators secured to a pallet, they can't be dropped or mistreated in transit. This helps us to ensure that you don't need to re-book your installer, or send back any potentially faulty units.
Your radiators will be delivered from our stock, so there's usually no need to wait.
Radiant heat is the warmth that you feel directly. It heats people, and objects in the room. The flat front panels of the Vantage emit radiant heat effectively.
Naturally convected heat is delivered through warming the circulated air. Cool air is drawn inside the radiator from the floor level, heated through the internal channels of the radiator, and pushed out through the enlarged ports on top. This helps to maintain an even room temperature, and minimize cold spots.
The Vantage is equipped with more than just a standard thermostat. The Fondital Digital Optimiser™ helps the Vantage Radiator to maintain a stable room temperature, and also ensures that energy consumption is reduced.
This example shows the typical heating cycle of other brands of similar-looking radiators. At the points where the red line exceeds 20 degrees, energy is wasted. Where the red like falls below the blue line. comfort levels are reduced, and cold draughts are created.
Here we see a much flatter curve, which is typical of the heating cycle of a Vantage Radiator. Comfort levels are increased, and energy usage is managed effectively.

There is a very noticeable difference in the quality of an electric radiator that's not made with plastic end-panels. Did you know that all other brands use up to 50% plastic, in their radiator bodies?
Plastics are used only to cut manufacturing costs. Click to learn more.
White plastics discolour and appear yellow over a period of time. This makes the end-panels appear different to the rest of the radiator, and different to white gloss painted woodwork in the room. Plastics are also fragile by comparison.
Where most aluminium radiators are spray-painted, the Vantage Radiator is made of double-coated pure white aluminium, so it's robust, scratch resistant, and it remains white indefinitely.
Generally, our customers want a radiator that's unobtrusive, and fades away into the background. Electric radiators covered with displays and controls can become an unwanted focal point in most rooms. Economiser radiators are designed to look similar to a traditional water-filled radiators.
The pure white finish suits almost any decor, and is the most popular choice for our customers in the UK.
Economiser Electric Radiators give exceptional levels of comfort in any area.
The face of the radiator is designed to look much like a conventional radiator, however the fins are much deeper. This maximises the surface area by 6 x to give a high level of radiant heat output. Radiant heat warms people, and objects within a room, giving a similar effect to sun shine.
Inside each fin is an enlarged hollow flute, which draws-in cooler air from the floor level. The air is heated as it rises through the flutes, is and pushed out through the top grille. This creates naturally convected heat, which warms the circulating air within the room.
Economiser Radiators use separate wireless control, which is approved by The Energy Saving Trust.
Each radiator can be connected to a wall-mounted programmable thermostat using wireless signal. Either a single radiator, or a group of radiators, can be controlled from one thermostat, to create a heating zone.
The wireless receiver unit is not built-in to the radiator, so does not have to work under high operating temperatures. This makes the radiators extremely robust and reliable. In the unlikely event of a fault, the radiator can be left on the wall, and the receiver or thermostat is easily replaced, with no need to return the radiator. The full 30-year radiator warranty of the radiator, and the fireclay heat plates and elements is retained.

Like all things German, the Economiser Radiator is engineered to a very high standard. It meets the requirements for VDE/ GS certification - The highest level of quality assurance in Europe.
The high-grade steel outer casing is powder coated, so it's finish is perfect, and scratch resistant. The pure white coating will remain white for many years beyond the warranty period of 30 years.
The steel that's used is zinc-coated before the powder coat is applied. This ensures that the radiator remains rust proof.
Inside the radiator is a series of non-porous (fireclay chamotte) heat plates. Each one surrounds an air-tight heating element, which is of the very highest quality, to ensure lasting performance and durability.
Inside the Economiser Radiator is a series of fireclay ceramic heat plates. Each has an individual imbedded heating element inside. The fireclay (also known as Chamotte) is a high-density mineral-rich ceramic. It heats-up quickly, and then stores the heat energy whilst warming the room.
The partial storage capacity allows the radiator to dissipate the heat very steadily. Even while the radiator is not drawing current, it continues to emit the stored heat energy. When the wall-mounted programmable thermostat detects a drop in room temperature, it signals the radiator to "recharge" the fireclay heat plates, until the temperature is increased. The energy consumption is modulated effectively and efficiently. A total duration of 15-20 minutes of power usage, per hour of continuous heating, can be achieved in insulated areas.
For more information on typical energy consumption, and what you might expect in your property, speak with an EHE advisor.
Concealed in the Vantage Radiator is a reservoir which can be used to humidify your heated environment for added comfort, or to enhance your property with active air freshening.
Humidity can become low in artificially-heated environments, especially during the winter months. Excessively low humidity reduces comfort levels, and can cause discomfort to those who suffer with dry skin, or respiratory problems. It can also cause dust to stick to electrically-charged surfaces such as televisions and other appliances.
With the UK market for air freshener products at an all-time high, this innovative addition also allows you to make savings by filling it with scented oils. The gentle warming action gives active air freshening in every room.
Retaining some heat energy within an electric radiator helps to increase the effectiveness of the heat output, and also the effectiveness of the temperature sensor and thermostat. Both Vantage and Economiser Radiators have a short-term storage capacity.
The short-term or "dynamic" storage capacity offered by EHE radiators means that the heating cycle is more gradual and controlled than that of a radiator with no storage capacity. This allows the temperature sensor to react better to fluctuations in room temperature, and to minimise energy usage, whilst maximising your comfort.
Radiators without any storage medium generally consume more energy and achieve lower comfort levels. They are simply “on or off”. Thermostatically controlled radiators which contain no storage medium go cold as soon as the room temperature is achieved. This means that the next "on" period of the heating cycle comes around much faster.
Radiators with deeper heat plates, that hold heat for longer, don't increase energy efficiency or decrease running costs. The room simply takes longer to warm-up, as the heat is trapped in the radiator for longer.
See the Products Pages for specific details on Economiser and Vantage Electric Radiators.
A combination of radiant heat and naturally convected heat gives you the best level of comfort and heat distribution.
Radiant heat is emitted from the face of the radiator. It heats people, and objects in the room. This warmth is considered to be the most comfortable form of heat transfer.
Convectional heat output warms the circulating air in the room. Cool air is drawn-in through the convection channels or flutes inside the radiator. The air warms and exits through the top of the radiator. This provides an extended coverage of warmth.
The design of the outer casing of EHE radiators promotes a good combination. For full details of each radiator design, see the listed features on the Product Pages.
The details that you supply through the Get a Quote Form are entered into our specialist software to calculate the approximate heat-losses of your property. This allows us to specify an appropriately-sized radiator.
Factors that determine your radiator size (power in Watts) include the type, and dimensions of the room, including the ceiling height. The level of insulation is noted, as well as the number of external walls, and the type, and number of windows. In compiling this information, we are better equipped to advise you on what you might expect to pay for your warmth, based on the wattage output of each radiator.
TIP: Despite what you may be told, home surveys are not necessary. With no boiler, gas connection, pipes, cylinder or flue, electric heating is relatively simple.
A radiator with insufficient power (wattage) may struggle to raise your room temperature. We guarantee against this, by specifying radiators that have ample wattage, using specialist software.. A radiator with "too much" power will not cost more to run. It will use only as much wattage as the room requires.
As important as the heat transfer itself, is the electronic control method. EHE Radiators are capable of maintaining your room temperature to an accuracy of just 0.5°C variance.
Accurate temperature sensing and electronic thermostats allow EHE radiators to input electrical energy and output heat at the most efficient level possible.
EHE Radiators use proportional digital thermostats, that deliver exactly the correct level of input power to the heating element. The result is a stable room temperature, and no energy wasted in over-heating at any point in the heating cycle.

The proportional integral control system reduces fluctuations in room temperature by monitoring the heating cycle continuously. Rather than switching "ON" and "OFF" throughout the heating cycle, the AEM chip draws power proportionally using exactly the wattage required on a drip-feed.
The result: An excellent comfort level and reduced energy consumption, and no "clicking" noises.
This is a powerful feature that allows you to easily track your energy usage in each room, plan your bill payments in advance, and take action to lower your usage.
The Vantage Energy Monitor allows you to see exactly how much energy your room requires to heat. If any one particular room or area seems to be taking more energy to heat than others of a similar size, it's likely that the insulation in that area is poor.
Sometimes when too warm, people simply open a window. If the heating is on, the result is wasteful and expensive.
During the heating cycle, the Vantage Radiator monitors the air temperature continuously. If a sudden drop in the ambient room temperature is detected, the radiator will pause its heat output for thirty minutes.
After thirty minutes the radiator will resume heating at the programmed setting, but only if the room temperature has increased once the window has been closed.
This function is ideal for electric heating in nurseries, care homes, offices, and just about any public building where health and safety is important.
The Vantage Electric Radiator features surface temperature control - enabling you to limit the maximum surface temperature of the radiator to level that is totally safe.
Where there are children or elderly people present, the radiator can be set to run at a maximum output of anywhere between 40% to 80%. The radiator's control module can then be locked to prevent any tampering to ensure that the safety setting remains at all times.
An intelligent solution to a common heating problem:
As the weather changes throughout the year and temperatures vary from day to day, it's impossible to predict how long it may take to warm-up your property.
If you're due home at 6.00 pm, when should your heating switch on? Too early and you waste energy, too late, and you'll be cold.
Our solution: Adaptive Start. Simply program your Vantage Radiator for a 6.00 pm Adaptive Start, and your room will be at your desired temperature at 6.00 pm.
The Vantage Radiator monitors the room temperature in advance of your start time and applies precisely the energy required to meet your rooms requirement - whatever the weather.
Discolouration occurs because plastic is an oil-based compound. The dye and oil polymers used to make the plastic degrade as they are exposed to heat, light, and airborne dust particles.
Some electric radiators are constructed with plastic to cut manufacturing costs. Plastic panels at the ends, top or bottom, and in the housing around the controls are particularly susceptible to yellowing. Even when new, you will notice a slightly different colour between the metal and plastic parts. This becomes more pronounced over time.
All EHE Electric Radiator bodies are 100% metal. That includes the end panels. The metal is finished in a tough scratch resistant coating that stays white indefinitely.
We don't source aluminium parts and assemble them. Our manufacturer owns the foundry where the raw aluminium is produced. This allows a level of quality control, development and traceablity that's impossible for others to attain. Watch the video to the right, to see the process - molten metal to finished radiator.
Chamotte ceramic plates retain heat energy and transfer it to the outer casing. Each ceramic plate has a heating element embedded inside it.
The ceramic core is made to an optimal thickness of 25mm - resulting in a slimline radiator that dissipates heat steadily, but does not suffer from lengthy warm-up times.
Economiser ceramic heat plates are non-porous, so do not absorb moisture, and are covered by a warranty period of 30 years.
Choose wireless control for full programming, using the wall-mountable digital thermostat.
Need to control a large group of radiators simultaneously within a large open-plan area? If you have several radiators operating within a large area such as an office, community centre, or retail unit, this could be for you.
Best suited for multiple radiators, our wireless programmable controller gives central temperature control "on demand" or with your pre-set 7-day program.
Choose this option and your Economiser Radiators are supplied with separate wireless receiver units. Simply add a wireless programmable thermostat for each of your heating zones.
Economiser Radiators are covered by a 30-year warranty. That's total peace of mind!
Economiser Radiators are extremely robust and reliable. In seven years we have not had any cause to replace a single radiator under warranty.
The 30-year warranty covers the powder-coated body of the radiator against any fault that could arise as a result of a manufacturing defect. Also covered for 30 years are the ceramic (fireclay) heat plates inside, and also the heating elements.
Electronics are covered by a warranty period of two years. All programmable Economiser Radiators are supplied with separate electronic components. This means that they are replaced quickly and easily in the unlikely event of a fault - even outside of the warranty period.
Economiser Electric Radiators are designed to look just like traditional wet-system radiators.
Finished only in powder-coated pure white, the Economiser is guaranteed to look great against any interior colour scheme - no matter what you choose for your decor in years to come. It's scratch-resistant, and the powder coating won't turn yellow - ever.
The Economiser is not just built to give exceptional comfort levels - it's made to fit-in, whatever your decor.
Economiser Radiators give a level of comfort that's unsurpassed. EHD is the optimum combination of convected and radiant heat.
Radiant heat output
The ridged the Economiser increase the surface area by eight times. That's 8 x the surface area of a flat panel. This clever design increases radiant heat output from the front of the radiator. The heat that's emitted is transferred directly through radiation. It's absorbed by people and objects within the room.
Naturally convected heat output
Each hollow flute draws cool air from the floor. The air is warmed and pushed out through the top grille as naturally convected heat. The warm air circulates continuously - dropping to the floor as it cools, and then recirculated.
Need simplicity above all else? Choose the Simple Dial Control option.
An easy-to-use numbered dial located on the end of the radiator allows you to set a comfortable temperature. The Red LED shows when the radiator draws power. The green LED shows when no power is being drawn. The room is up to temperature and the radiator is emitting only retained heat.
The Simple Dial Control option gives you a plug-n play radiator that's ready to go - straight out of the box. Installation can be as simple as putting the radiator on optional castors, or mounting it to the wall, and plugging it in.
The Integral Programmer option allows full programming and control at each radiator. It's discretely located on the end of each radiator, to maintain an unobtrusive look.
Unlike wasteful night storage heaters, our radiators can be programmed to heat each space to exactly the temperatures that you require, and only at the times that they are occupied.
Heating can be set to your preferred temperatures across every hour of every day. You can also adjust manually, using the plus and minus keys.
Other functionality includes a holiday mode, comfort mode, frost setting, and locking function.
The vented end panel helps to minimise the operating temperature of the electronics, for excellent reliability.
