Delivery of orders
EHE takes great care to securely package every product that we ship to our customers using suitable packaging and using trusted logistics partners. EHE indemnify their position of responsibility at the point of shipping. By accepting the goods, the customer shall assume full responsibility for a consignment delivered to them by the logistics company. Upon delivery it is the responsibility of the customer to check that goods are received in full, and undamaged. If there is any visible damage to a packaging, this must be raised with the delivery representative at point of and reported to us immediately. Items should be checked or rejected on these grounds. In all instances. It is the responsibility of the customer to notify EHE of any shortages or damaged items. Any notification of shortages or damaged goods must be made to EHE at the point of delivery or within a maximum of a 24-hour period after the delivery. EHE shall not be held responsible or liable for any damages or shortfalls of consignments once the customer accepts the goods.
*Where no signature is required, goods must be checked and any notification of shortage or damage must be made within 24 hours of receipt of the delivery. Claims made after this period cannot be accepted.
Pallet delivery is carried out between the hours of 0900 and 1800. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that an authorised person is present in order to provide a signature between these times. Delivery is carried out by a third party who is contracted to deliver pallets “kerbside” at the main point of access to an address. This does not include the movement of pallets or items within a premises. Delivery drivers are not directly employed by EHE and as such are not insured or contracted to open sealed pallets, remove goods from pallets, or enter a premises for the purposes of handling goods.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that access to the point of delivery is available and free from obstruction. Due to the nature of pallet deliveries, any timings given are approximate and subject to change without notice.
Where a delivery fails and must be reattempted due to an unnotified access restriction, or the authorised recipient being absent, a re-delivery fee of £48.00+VAT must be paid by the customer prior to any subsequent delivery attempt.
Delivery notice periods
All shipping times provided by EHE are approximate and for customer guidance purposes only and shall not be grounds for order cancellation. All made-to order items will be delivered to the customer within a period of 20 working days, where possible. EHE shall take reasonable measures to ensure that all orders are processed and fulfilled in a manner that is fair and reasonable.
