Manuals and Installation

The Thermastore HHR is delivered with some components separately packaged ready for assembly. We recommend that this product is installed by a qualified electrician.

*The Thermastore HHR requires only a single feed (power cable) from your electrical supply to provide both the off-peak and standard-rate power (standard rate power may occasionally be used to provide a boost).

Any meter that can switch between peak and off-peak supply would normally be compatible with the Thermastore HHR. When replacing some older storage heaters with two feeds connected from two different meters, it may be necessary to contact your energy supplier to update your meters to a single dual-rate meter.

Delivery

Delivery

Some larger and heavier radiators will be delivered on a pallet service. Lighter items will usually be sent by courier. After you complete your order, you will receive a confirmation email detailing your order and the delivery. If you’re receiving heavier units,  we recommend having someone on hand to help out.

Delivery lead-time

Order before midday and choose 48 hr delivery, or any other weekday thereafter. For delivery to Scottish Highlands/Islands/Postcode areas AB/ PH/ DD please call for a quote.

EPC-Boosting Heat Retention

The Thermastore HHR is equipped with long-life stainless steel heating elements, up to 24x extremely dense ceramic cells (dependent on model), and a galvanised steel casing lined with unique multi-layered insulation materials. The core compnents developed for the Thermastore combine to achieve an extremely high level of heat absorption with very low conductivity. Valuable heat energy gained in it’s overnight charge remains trapped inside until it’s required. The Thermastore HHR340 retains 51.6% of it’s charge whilst inactive over a 15 -hour period.

A full 7-hours of off-peak charging isn’t always necessary. The Thermastore’s processor uses an intelligent charge algorithm to determine exactly how much charge to take – ensuring very little waste. Various factors used in the charge algorithm include: The current internal core temperature (remaining stored heat). The set heating times and set temperatures. Current and historical room temperatures. Historical heat-up times of the room. Previous charge statistics.

Great customer care and quality. What more could you want? Electric Heating Expert came recommended by neighbours. We went for the Vantage Connect product and have been impressed with the quality and the ease of use. The app is similar to Hive but also includes temperature control on every room individually and several other features that with Hive you have to pay an extra subscription for. With Vantage Connect it is all included free. Child lock is good if you have curious youngsters. You can also set it from the app so if you rent out a property for Air BnB as we will be, any changes can be stopped or limited etc. We've called the company twice for help with minor tweaks and found them genuinely helpful and responsive. A great company with excellent staff and products.

As a lone woman in her 60s and very unsure on how to refit my new flats heating system, I purchased 5 ecopanelXL from the Electric Heating Expert in July 2025.
From my initial conversations on which electric radiators would suit my needs, to which size would be best for each of my rooms, the service I have been given has been exceptional. My first contact by email in April about efficiency and cost had been very well explained.
The fact I didn't want an app version on a smart phone, as I preferred manual controls was also not a problem for Tony in customer services. After chatting to Tony on the phone on countless occasions with many questions skilfully answered.
As I had never used and all Electric heating system before. I felt I could now make a well informed choice of radiator panels and placed my order in May.
There were difficulties with my delivery but this was in No Way down to electric heating expert. As they went over and above their remit as suppliers to make sure my consignment reached me in time for my electrician to fit them. By eventually having to send my delivery consignment by overnight courier at great expense for them, and with no extra cost to me as their customer.
Tony has always been extremely helpful and gone out of his way to make sure I am happy with my purchase. Even down to sending me smaller videos explaining how to set up my radiators system ready for a cozy winter this year.
I can not praise this company enough for their customer service, after purchase care and how they are willing to go over and above what is required by them.
