We bought our first two Economiser radiators just before Christmas, the day after we moved in to our new home, to begin replacing ancient night storage heaters that are now expensive to run even on Economy 7. EHE are a joy to deal with, keeping us posted on a stock delivery they were expecting so we could have the units before the Christmas break. The rads were dropped off on our doorstep, well packaged and very easy to set up and programme. We have put them on castors until we have them in the best positions. The acid test that raises a company above the rest in the market is how they treat customers and how they react to problems. In our case, one of the rad controllers threw a wobbly on a Thursday evening, less than a month in, screen flashing and an alarm sounding. Powered off and cooled down but could not operate the unit any further. Called the problem in on Friday morning with some apprehension but needn’t have worried. Ian picked up straight away and organised a replacement controller side panel and called back to tell us that it would arrive on the Monday. It actually arrived on the Saturday and was very easy to fit and we were back up and running with a toasty warm bedroom. Good to see that the new panel board had been modified with in-line fuses to protect the controller from spikes. EHE have arranged for the dead part to be collected by courier and the whole process has been as smooth as silk. We will now press ahead with buying the next three radiators having every confidence in EHE and we cannot recommend them highly enough.
